Welcome to BReW Rota Righter (“the Add-on”). By installing or using this Google Sheets Add-on, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. License
You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Add-on for your personal or internal business use in accordance with these terms.
This licence does not grant ownership of the Add-on or its codebase. We reserve the right to suspend or revoke this licence at any time if you breach these terms.
2. Subscription & Payment
Access to the Add-on is provided on a subscription basis.
You must maintain a valid licence key, which is issued to you upon payment.
Subscriptions are billed according to the terms communicated at the time of purchase (e.g., monthly or annually).
Failure to renew or pay may result in loss of access.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with advance notice.
3. User Responsibility
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your licence key confidential.
- Maintaining and securing any personal data collected by the Add-On when you use it.
- Ensuring that your use of the Add-on complies with applicable laws and your organisation's policies.
4. Data & Privacy
The Add-on stores some settings and preferences using Google Apps Script’s built-in PropertiesService.
Data from www.gov.uk/bank-holidays.json is fetched to assist with rota building.
No user data is transmitted to third-party services or shared outside your Google environment.
The Add-on does not access your spreadsheets beyond what’s necessary to function as intended.

5. Limitations
The Add-on is provided “as is” without any warranties. While we aim for reliability, we are not responsible for any damages, data loss, or scheduling errors arising from its use.
6. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Add-on:
- If a user violates these terms.
- If misuse, fraud, or abuse is detected.
- Upon expiry or cancellation of a subscription.
- Due to unforeseen events affecting the functioning of the Add-On. In this case a refund will be provided for any purchased uncompleted uses.
